Do Effective SEO

August 31st, 2009

This seems to be a very difficult task……

SEO is split into two separate categories: The first is on-page optimisation; the second is off-page optimisation. On-page optimisation is what you do to your site to make it rank better and off-page optimisation is link building.

     We’ll start with on-page optimisation:

The first step is to find relevant keywords for your website; these keywords are relevant to your business. For example: If you had a printing business you would select keywords like: Colour Printing, Book Printing, Printing Books in the USA etc.

The next step is to integrate these keywords into your website copy; I would suggest choosing 2 – 3 keywords and repeating them 4 or 5 times each throughout your home page copy. Try and have the rest of your keywords repeated in your copy at least once. Also, have your keywords in the title tag, Meta Tags, H1, H2, H3 tags and the ALT tags. Try and have a good number of content rich pages, I would suggest at least 10. These pages must have the keywords scattered though-out the copy. » Read more: Do Effective SEO

Effective Internet Marketing Tools

August 26th, 2009

Everyone wants to get acess to internet marketing. But many people just do not know how to do with it.Well,by reading this article thoroughly you can get some creative ideas.

For anyone involved in Internet Marketing or for anyone wishing to become involved, a quick rundown of these marketing tools may prove helpful. Here’s a brief list and a few pointers on how to effectively use these marketing tools.

     1. Domain Name

Lets start at the very beginning. Your domain name should be considered your first Internet marketing tool. Pick it right and your domain name can also be your most effective marketing tool. Get it wrong and it may spell game over.

Most marketers agree you should pick a short memorable keyword-related domain name. For example, www.hotels.com, it’s easy to remember/spell and it tells you exactly what the site is about. Picking a domain directly related to the keyword or keywords of your site will help greatly in obtaining a high ranking for your site with the search engines. Not to mention, it will be a great marketing and promotional tool, telling your potential customers exactly what your site is promoting and displaying.

On the other hand, some marketers suggest you opt for a short jazzy name that can be easily remembered by your visitors. Ebay, Google, Napster, Yahoo… regardless of which route you take, make sure you examine all the marketing potential before you pick your domain name. The right domain name can be one of your most effective marketing tools on the world wide web.

Many experts also suggest you only set up a dedicated server for your domain or domains. A dedicated server only carries one domain. Most hosting companies (for economic reasons) often share hosting servers, i.e. your domain is co-hosted with hundreds of other domains on the same server. Since you will be using the same IP address this may have dire consequences if one of the domains is accused of spamming or some other unscrupulous behavior. Even if you can’t afford a dedicated server, it would be wise (for SEO purposes) to have a separate IP address for each domain you own. Most hosting companies provide this service for a small fee. » Read more: Effective Internet Marketing Tools

Write The Articles Access To SEO

August 18th, 2009

SEO reminds you to do many details on your websites.Only by these small tips can you make you websites more available to the search engines.Just as the saying,Little by little goes far.

Here are certain tried out tips to write SEO articles to promote your website. They require only a little bit of imagination and linguistic ability on the part of the writer.

     Use relevant keywords

Your article should contain keywords that are relevant to the subject of your article. You should try to use keywords that the searchers for your product, service or information are likely to type in the search engine bar to arrive at your article. Unless the right keywords are used, the search engine software will not catch your article and then nobody will be able to read it howsoever unique, informative and useful it may be. All the effort, energy and time you spend in creating your article will, thus, go waste.

How to find the right keywords

The best way to find the right keywords for your article is to try to put yourself in the mind of the searcher. Imagine that you need information about a particular product or service. What words or phrases would you use in the search engine bar? Once you identify the needs of the searcher, you will automatically use the relevant keywords or phrases in your article. » Read more: Write The Articles Access To SEO

Content is King

August 18th, 2009

This is the most important in SEO,I think. But many people are not very care about it.It seems that they lay too much emphasis on other skills.

CONTENT IS KING - We all read this many times, and it will be true for a long time. However, this concept evolved. It not only became “Unique content is king”, but “Unique OnPage content plus Unique content OffPage is king”. (OnPage: on our sites; OffPage: on external sites). We definitely have to find a balance between On and OffPage publishing. Only one of them isn’t sufficient. Search engines (SEs) must find our creation on the web, in press releases, ads and Internet marketing articles, including links containing our targeted keywords as anchor texts, pointing at a corresponding type of content on our site(s), specially keyword wise.

SEO IS QUEEN - We often read that SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is tedious, that it requires a lot of work, that it is not as efficient as it used to be, we even read that it is dead… Most contrarily, SEO definitely is the queen. OnPage SEO teaches us that Xhtml and CSS based sites allow us to put our keywords much higher on our pages. That SE trust much more Xhtml sites, because it is easier for them to find any OnPage cheating attempt on Xhtml pages than on mere Html pages. SEO also teaches us that Xhtml pages load much faster, at least 4 times than Html pages. Yes, a real and effective SEO requires time, know-how and intuition. However, SEO, along with On & OffPage content mastery, regarding specially our Internet marketing articles, is worthwhile the efforts. » Read more: Content is King

Get Ranked Higher in Google

August 18th, 2009

We all know it is valuable if your website gets a high rank in Google. But this is not very easy ,so many professional companies offer their services in improving the websites` ranking in Google.

Before you start to promote your site over the internet, it is best to first find out what search term or also known as “keyword” that you want to use to build your campaign. It should be a keyword that is related to your site and one that is actually being searched for. A great keyword research tool that you can use is Google Keyword Tool. Using this tool you can type in a keyword manually or let Google analyze your site by typing in your site address. It will return all the keywords that are found on your site and you can filter the results by search volume and competition.

Once you choose your keyword or keywords you will want to implement this in your site which is known as On-Page Optimization. Ensure that your keywords Meta tag reflect that your keywords are included; the keyword should be in your Title or at least a variation. Also in your site content it is best to have this keyword in your content in the right places but don’t keywords stuff your site where it may look unnatural. When a keyword accounts for 10% of the entire page content this is too much. When using keywords in your site, Search Engines will pick up if the keywords are in bold or italic. There are more ways to optimize your on page content but there is too much to cover in this article. I started with the basics. » Read more: Get Ranked Higher in Google
